Description: This is a deadstock Japanese garment, new and off the shelf, just older. We're unsure but this might be from the 1980s-90s; This is called a hanjuban, the top part of an underkimono, running about 23.6 inches (2 feet/60cm) in length; sleeves are about 19 1/4 "(49cm) long;Size is a lady's Japanese M; we suggest using the measurements to determine size for wearer. The main body of the garment is a good quality 100% Japanese cotton, with the collar & part of sleeves in polyester. The colors are very light pastels with gradation coloring of pink and yellow; collar & part of sleeves are white; MOtif is of small cherry blossoms. A great find, like new and ready to wear (dry-clean or hand-wash/dry only); Great for lounging around the house or as nightgown/housecoat. |
