This is a light weight Japanese silk from the 1960's; cream colored fabric with pastel colored maple leaves and cherry blossoms on branches.

Fabric is take from a lady's kimono estimated as from the 1960's, Fabric is light and delicate, with slight drape but is still intact and strong;

Other conditions: Very slight patina softens the pinks and the whites only slightly; Unfortunately, this was found wrinkled and we've not dry-cleaned it to remove the wrinkles, which are slightly visible on the pictures here; Overall condition is very good as there are no holes, tears or significant stains (note that almost all vintage fabrics can have some patina or imperfections );

Clean and recommended for creative uses in making scarf, clothing accessory.
