This is a light weight Japanese silk from the 1970's or earlier; Fabric is an interwoven red and was intended for use in making nagajuban (under kimono) or possibly as liner of a ceremonial kimono; Fully interwoven with full traditional floral bouquet-with-cords as designs throughout. Overall condition is excellent, like new: fabric is clean, soft to the touch and there are no holes, tears nor stains; still intact and strong. Recommended for various creative projects, clothing or accessory design;
