This is a light weight Japanese silk from the 1980's; Fabric is from a lady's kimono which was taken apart and cleaned in the past; Background is a gray with purple tint, dark purple large flowers (peonies?) with stems; fabric has a very slight sheen to it.

Overall condition is excellent, like new: fabric is clean and there are no holes, tears nor stains; still intact and strong.

Recommended for various creative projects, clothing or accessory design;
