This is a light-medium weight Japanese silk from the 1960's-1970's; Fabric is mesh pattern of small diamond shape in diagonal arrangement; Reverse is polar opposite of front in that front is dominant black background with rusty-orange diamonds and reverse is the opposite with black diamonds.There is small selvedge on each sides. Overall condition is excellent as fabric is clean and there are no holes, tears nor stains; While light-medium there is little slight but fabric is still intact and strong; recommended for creative uses in making scarf, clothing accessory, quilting.
