This is piece of light weight deadstock Japanese kimono fabric,cotton ( new but unsold stock) from the 1960's-70's; This is an interesting mesh pattern which gives the perception of being layered, 3 dimensional; The sine waves run lengthwise and have a symmetry which creates an undulating design; beneath the fine mesh grid pattern is larger ragged thatch-like patterns in light colonial blue-gray; patterns same on both sides. Condition: EXCELLENT, like new. Fabric still strong, like new, still slightly firm. Recommended
