This is a 14 inches (35.56cm) wide X 1.5yards(1.37m) long piece of light-weight qood quality Japanese kimono cotton; Fabric is from the 1980's and is deadstock -- meaning unsold stock from a previous time but in basically new condition.

Background is predominantly a dark indigo blue (almost black) with speckled pattern done in white; patterns are same on both sides.

Fabric was initially intended for making a woman's yukata (summer or bath kimono) but suitable for quilting as well as other creative projects.
