This is a fine piece of light-weight Japanese silk, deadstock (unsold off-shelf, just aged) from the 1980's; The color is quite difficult to describe (and capture in photo), but it is best described as a dark iron red with hint of brown; Patterns are the same on both sides. Interwoven pattern is of ancient pottery pieces. Rather distinctive and seldom seen motif
Condition: EXCELLENT.Recommended for a variety of creative applications, including scarf, accessory or as part of a designer garment.
