This is a piece of light weight deadstock silk blend ( new but unsold stock, fabric composed of silk and mock-silk synthetics); fabric is from the 1970's; This style of design and color are what is used in the Okinawan tradition of bingata fabric. (This is NOT bingata). Fabric is smooth and has nice drape; Colors are predominantly earth tones, rusty brown, various olive greens, dark rust brown and blacks; Note the fabric is replete with pixelated designs, fans, many kinds of flora; motifs are on one side. Condition: EXCELLENT --Excellent for its age, like new.
