This is a never-used (deadstock: new but older unsold stock) from the 1970's-80's with designs on one side. This is a type of silk used to make a woman's kimono; It has tight weave like damask but no sheen and softer drape; fabric is light-medium weight. Background color is hard to describe, sort of a light cocoa with muted earth tone motifs of birds and flowers (see close-ups).
Condition: EXCELLENT, like new..Recommended for a variety of creative applications, including scarf, accessory or as part of a designer garment.
