This is one piece of 3 yards (2.74m) which is 14"(35.56cm) wide, taken from a roll used to make summer kimono.The fabric is a light weight deadstock cotton ( new but unsold stock) from the 1970's.The color of the fabric is white with with dark indigo blue (almost black) motifs of stylized streams, flowersbamboo, birds and Chinese characters which are someone's name, Kazuo Hasgawa (an actor?);Designs are same on both sides.

Condition: EXCELLENT

Fabric still strong, like new, still slightly firm. Recommended for a variety of creative applications.
