This is a piece of high quality light-weight deadstock tsumugi (pongee) silk (new but unsold stock) from the 1990's with designs on both sides; fabric is a dark plum with lighter interwoven motifs of geometric flower patterns. Selvage of 1/4 inch (6.35mm) on both sides. Condition: EXCELLENT.Fabric still strong, like new. Recommended for a variety of creative applications.
