This is a light-medium weight special natural silk kimono fabric called tsumugi, a type of pongee, with the natural silk not processed very much so usually has basic earthen tones;
This is a single piece of light weight tsumugi (pongee) silk taken from a roll of deadstock* kimono fabric; Fabric is very slightly sheer (slightly translucent if held up to bright light) but weight is light to medium.
*Deadstock: New from shelf, just older,never sold nor used.
This fabric is a lengthwise pin-stripe of mixed light lime to white color stripes on a subtly mottled background of rust browns and some light black; this pin stripe and coloration is the same on both sides except for the small white accents shown on the main side.(see closeups);
Condition: EXCELLENT. 100% useable.
