This is a lightweight blended poly-cotton fabric which is 14.5 inches X 1.5yds (36.8cm X 1.37m); fabric is deadstock ( new but unsold stock) estimated from the 1970's-80's; This is a classic mock-kasuri design (made to look like ikat /kasuri) on white back-ground with burgundy red and geometric designs; also some dark green accents (see close-ups); intended for use on one side but designs show through on reverse. This is a blend of cotton and synthetic polycotton, originally intended for use in making summer kimono (called a yukata); Fabric is strong, like new, still quite firm. Recommended for quilters or any variety of creative applications.
