We are offering this fabric in minimum 13.5 inch X 1.5 yard (34.3cm X 1.37m) long pieces of light weight deadstock cotton (new but unsold stock) estimated from the 1950's-60's; This cotton's design is overlain layered grids of various types of jagged stripes (running left to right, widthwise) and some larger lines formed wih what look like bubbles.Predominant colors are indigo-blue, gary, colonial blue and liught colonial blues; upon close inspection the effect is sort of 3-D effect. This is a cotton originally was intended to be used to make summer kimono (called a yukata); Fabric is strong, like new, still firm; colors have not faded, looks as if it was made yesterday. Recommended for quilters or any variety of creative applications.
