This is a 1970's light weight deadstock mock-silk (synthetics;new but unsold stock); originally intended for use in making a lady's kimono; Fabric is plain black with white motifs of kozuchi ("treasure mallet",a traditional symbol of good luck and prosperity) and Edo Period coins with decorative cords..

Fabric still strong, like new, nice drape. Design is on both sides.

Recommended for a variety of creative applications, quilting, scarf, garment or accessory-making.

Condition: EXCELLENT, Like new.
