What do you mean by "first-come-first served"?

A Word of Explanation About Our Web Catalog Orders:

As our web offerings change often, and we cannot always remove them from the catalog immediately after someone buys them, we have situations where several people order the same item. So, as a way to fairly handle this situation, we have a policy of "first-come-first-served" ; which works like this:
  • The date-time stamp of your email, fax, phone call or secure page entry confirms your order. It will be used in cases of multiple orders for single items. Payment need not be received for us to consider your order confirmed.

  • If you order & state you will pay by check or money order, we must receive the payment promptly, within 5 business days for USA customers & 10 days for international.

  • We will consider layaway plans for our established customers, or for creditworthy individuals on more expensive items. contact us if interested.

  • Those who miss purchasing the item, but wish to be placed on a "confirmed (non-binding) backorder list", should let us know .

  • If we receive then your confirmed order of the backlogged item, we will notify you before posting the next similar item to the catalog, so you can have 'right of first refusal'.
